Dr. Carol Jackson is a leading ear specialist, Board Certified with additional Otology Fellowship training from the renowned House Ear Institute and Clinic in Los Angeles. Her mentors include the internationally known Dr. Howard House and his brother, the famous Dr. William House who is hailed as the "father of modern neurotology".
Having established and directed full service ear programs at UCI and Western Medical Center, Dr. Jackson operates at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach. Contributing to developments in her field, Dr. Jackson has published numerous scientific articles and book chapters. She has appeared on television and in newspapers and was voted by peers into the Best Doctors in America listings.
Laser microsurgery and inner ear expertise stems from Dr. Jackson's undergraduate studies at Arizona State University where she graduated suma cum laude. Dr. Jackson graduated from medical school at the University of Arizona where her surgical internship and residency in Otolaryngolgoy-Head and Neck surgery were also completed.
Dr. Samantha Melanson is a clinical audiologist certified by the American Academy of Audiology and American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Dr. Melanson received both her bachelor and master degrees from Cal State University of Long Beach, followed by her doctorate degree from the University of Florida. Dr. Melanson is a California licensed audiologist and hearing aid dispenser who brings extensive expertise in fitting, programming and servicing digital hearing aid instruments.
